Our team of students has created an e-book about the beauty and importance of our forests, and the fear and destruction that forest fires cause to all living things, by bringing together stories they created themselves in different ways and from different perspectives.

A STORY OF REBIRTH

Once upon a time, in a quiet valley surrounded by tall silver trees, there was a great forest known as the Silent Grove. It was unlike any other forest. Everything lived in perfect balance. The wind blew gently, and birds sang in harmony. Life in the forest was peaceful, calm, and full of quiet magic.
At the very center of the forest stood a giant plane tree that had lived for hundreds of years. All the animals called it “The Heart of the Forest.” It could understand the whispers of the wind and feel the movements deep within the soil. It was as if the spirit of the forest lived inside it.

Many friends lived in this forest. There was Pofuduk the rabbit, Lira the fox, Toby the turtle, Mia the squirrel, Nox the owl, and many others. They played together, learned together, and lived in harmony with nature. Days passed happily, and nothing seemed strong enough to disturb their peaceful life.
But one day, everything began to change.

It was a very hot summer day. The sun was stronger than ever. While walking near the edge of the forest, Pofuduk noticed something unusual—a small fire burning on the ground. At first, it seemed harmless, but suddenly the wind grew stronger. Tiny sparks jumped onto dry leaves, and the fire began to spread.
Pofuduk’s heart started beating fast. He ran as quickly as he could to the Heart of the Forest and cried out,
“There is danger! The fire is spreading!”

At the same time, Lira had also noticed something was wrong. The wind had changed direction, and the air felt heavy.
“This isn’t normal… something is wrong,” she said anxiously.
Soon, smoke rose into the sky. Trees began to crackle. Birds flew in panic, and animals ran in fear. The peaceful sounds of the forest were replaced by chaos.

“The forest is on fire!” shouted Nox the owl.
The fire spread rapidly, like a living creature, consuming everything in its path. At that moment, two travelers, Ethan and Liam, who were walking through the forest, saw what was happening.
“This… might be because of us,” Liam said sadly.
Ethan lowered his head in silence, feeling deep regret.
The Heart of the Forest rustled its leaves. Its voice was calm but strong:
“Do not panic. If we act together, we can overcome this.”

Everyone quickly took action. The birds flew into the sky to warn the humans. Mia the squirrel and Pofuduk the rabbit began clearing dry leaves from the ground. The hedgehogs collected dangerous materials. Toby the turtle carried water. Milo the bear used his strong paws to dig a barrier in the soil. Lira the fox guided the smaller animals to safe areas. Nox the owl watched the direction of the wind from above.
Suddenly, Lira shouted,
“Clear everything in front of the fire! If it has nothing to burn, it will stop!”
Everyone worked even faster. Slowly, the fire began to weaken… it grew smaller… and finally, it went out.
