So naturally every woman wants a daughter,
You know, her own flesh and blood, to be able to
watch grow, and grow yourself in the process.
I wanted a little girl, badly. In August, 2009, I finally
got my little girl. She just happened to be two
when we met. The moment those huge blue eyes met
mine, I was taken back to the moment my first son
was born, labeling me as mommy. I would have been
completely satisfied if I would have never had a baby
girl of my own. RILEY PAIGE, you have given me more
than I ever could imagine. I am blessed to have you
as my daughter. I know I am not your mother, and
would NEVER claim to be, but you ARE MY daughter.
I love you so angry. <3

There was a girl named Riley who had the ability to be able to choose her dreams
every time she slept. By the age of 7 she had already been to Disney Land, Hawaii,
Mount Everest, the moon, and Pluto (in her dreams of course). It was so much fun
to be able to go anywhere she wanted. Sometimes Riley would take a nap just to be
able to take a new adventure. The best part about it, was that she could bring
anyone with her as long as they were also asleep at the same time.

One night her little sister, Gracie, had a
horrible nightmare and wandered up to Riley's
room in hopes that Riley would help ease the
fears running through her poor little mind.
Riley let her sister sleep in her bed to keep
her calm. By this point, all of Riley's
family knew of her special gift. "Where
would you like to go, Gracie?" Riley asked
her baby sister. "Can we go to the beach Rye-
Rye?" asked Gracie. "Of course we can. Just
close your eyes, and I will take you there.
Goodnight, Gracie." Whispered Riley.
"Goodnight Rye-Rye, I love you." mumbled
Gracie half asleep already. "I love you too."
Riley whispered as she kissed Gracie's
forehead.

That night, Riley took Gracie
to South Carolina to watch the
sun come up on the beach.
They had so much fun playing
in the waves, and watching all
the seagulls fly over their
heads. Since Riley creates
everything involved with these
dreams, of course Gracie and
her could swim and there were
no sharks what so ever in the
ocean. The sisters swam so
far out that they even got to
swim with the dolphins. Gracie
swears she found Nemo. It
was one of Riley's favorite
dreams.

Unfortunately, the alarm clock went off bright and early, interrupting the
fun adventure. Breakfast was Rileys families favorite part of the day
because they got to hear about the adventures she would go on. Riley
always took turns with her family, bringing them with on her nightly
adventures. This particular day, Gracie asked to say grace. Everyone
bowed their heads, and she began: "Dear heavenly father, thank you for
my sister, she is the best sister I ever did have. Amen." she finished.
"Amen." the family said, ever so heartfelt.

Riley wanted so badly to
do something life
changing with her gift.
As she got older she just
knew she was put on
this earth for a reason,
kind of like Simon Birch,
but she just didn't know
what it was. What she
didn't realize is that she
had already touched the
lives of her friends and
family just by taking
them with her on her
journeys throughout the
world. Sure it was just a
dream, but it was also a
memory that no one
would ever forget, ever.
Riley still felt there was
something more.

One day Riley got a call from a local newspaper after hearing about her
special gift. Word travels fast in small towns. They asked if she would
mind doing a charity event at the town's hospital for all of the small
children stuck inside those walls. Riley, without hesitation, said yes. How
could she say no?! Riley sat and thought about which dreams to share with
these kids and which adventures she had the most fun on. She had some
favorites but there had been so many dreams to date, that it was harder
than she thought! She wished she would have time to tell them all!

Riley was nervous but the day finally came to go to the hospital and tell of her
dreams. As she walked through the hallways she couldn't help but get teary-eyed at all the poor little children in their hospital beds. Oh how she wished she could just snap her fingers and they would be better. She walked in the cafeteria where there was stage set up just for her. It was go time. Riley got on stage and looked at her crowd, there were so many children of all ages, here to see her. As Riley told stories of her worldly trips, she just could not help noticing this little girl three rows back. She had little to no hair. Cancer? Riley thought.. Maybe, but she didn't want to assume. The little girl had a huge smile on her face the entire time, despite clearly being in pain with all of the IV's she had attached to her. She had to be at least 4 years old, 5 at the most. After every story the little girl clapped her heart out and yelled "More! More!" Unfortunately, her time had come to an end, as all the children needed to be treated and head back to their designated rooms.
