Is for Air:
Help keep the AIR clean by walking or riding your bike instead of taking a car. Cars give off many harmful gasses that stay trapped in the AIR.

Air is needed by all living things!

Help keep the Earth clean by throwing trash away in the BIN.
Fact:
Animals confuse trash for food and can become ill when eaten.

Man made gasses get trapped in the atmosphere and the sun heats them up.

EARTH DAY is every April and we celebrate it by using less electricity, less water, and walking instead of using a car. But we can celebrate Earth day everyday!

Help protect the animals of the Earth by not cutting down their homes.
FACT:
Every year thousands of animals forced out of their homes due to deforestation.

Help keep the Earth clean by using renewable energy sources. Running water, windmills, and solar power are types of renewable energy!

One wind turbine can produce enough electricity to power up to 300 homes.

The physical environment that is home to plants and animals in an area.

This is where animals live, feed, and reproduce.

INDIGENOUS PLANTS are found in specific areas only. Help protect them by not cutting down or damaging their homes

If moved, the plants can be killed and the animals living there may die.

The Amazon jungle is vanishing at twice the rate than it was last year .

When animals see trash on the ground, they think its food and try to eat it. This kills thousands of animals a year!

The ozone layer screens out the sun's harmful ultraviolet radiation.

The ‘ozone layer’ is 12-20 miles above the Earth’s surface and contains most of our ozone.

Keep the Earth clean by not Polluting the air we breath. Cars, Boats, and other machinery let out harmful fumes into the air.

Try walking, riding bike, or rollerskating instead of driving a car!
