It was an early Saturday morning, when Mason and Molly woke up ready for the day. They were the best friends ever and everyone knew that. No one could ever come between them.

That day, Mason decided that he wanted to stay inside. So Molly walked to the park after dance practice with her good friend, Bob. When she found something...

She found an adorable kitten. She was hurt and needed help. Molly felt so bad for the kitten.

Bob, Look.

"What should we do Bob?" Molly said.

"You should take her home"Bob said

Molly thought about it for a second.

"I'm going to take her home" she said.

She walked home with Bob and the kitten. When she got into the house, she went straight into the bathroom. She put the kitten in the bathtub and cleaned her off.

"I'm gonna call you Macie".

Macie licked her face and Molly smiled.

Molly was very excited that she got a new pet. As she was holding Macie and daydreaming, Mason strolled into the bathroom.

"Hi Molly" Mason said.

"Hi Mason, This is Macie" said Molly.

WHAT!!!!! Mason thought. Why does she need another pet, I thought I was good enough. I guess not, thought Mason.

I can't believe this!!!!

"Oh, what is she doing here?" asked Mason.

"She is going to live with us" Molly answered.

"Oh, okay. I am going to go to Jana's house."Mason said.

"Okay, well have fun".

Mason walked over to Jana's house very upset. He was mad. And sort of disappointed.

When Mason got to Jana's doghouse, Jana was very happy to see him.

"Mason, HI!" Jana said.

"Hi Jana, i have a bit of a problem"

"What is it, tiny guy?" Jana asked him.

"I'm not tiny" Mason whined

"And, Molly got a kitten, and I think she might like her more than me" Mason said.

"Oh, okay that's nice"Jana said.

"You know what, forget it"
