Tomorrow is career day. Sally was excited for everyone to see what she wants to be when she grows up.

The night before, she prepared everything she would be wearing the next day.

The next day, When sally got to her classroom she saw everyone dressed as policemen, firefighters, nurses, doctors, and more!

When Sally walked in everyone turned and looked at her. Sally presented her biggest smile thinking that the loved her future career.

Then all of her classmates started laughing and pointing at her. They thought that Sally can't be a ballerina because ballerina's are tall and skinny.

They all said mean things like:

"You have to be kidding right?"

"How can you possibly dream on being a dancer?"

"Did you not know ballerinas aren't short and fat?"

"You will never be a ballerina" "You can keep dreaming!"

Sally ran away to the bathroom and then shortly Ms.Stuart walked in with her. "Darling don't worry about them you can be anything you want if you put your mind to it", she said.

When Sally got home, her mom already knew what had happened because Ms.Stuart had called her. She hugged her mom and cried into her shoulder.

Her mom said "Don't let other people discourage you. You can be anything my love, and I will help you." Then she came up with a great idea.

"Why don't we sign you up for ballet classes?"

Sally was very excited and she loved her mother's idea.

Weeks later, Ms.Stuart announced that there would be a talent show at her school. Sally thought it would be the perfect time to prove everyone who judged her, wrong.

Sally practiced and practiced to prepare for the talent show. She wanted her dance routine to be absolutely perfect.
