Today's Oxygen Gatherers:

Bella Blood & Blake Blood

It was a wonderful Wednesday at Brain Academy. Today was Bella and her brother Blake’s turn to go get oxygen from the heart. They had to go grab a friend who would deliver their oxygen to the storage unit behind the brain. Bella was super excited, because she was going for the first time. When the students came back with the oxygen they were always red, unlike their friends. Without oxygen, the blood was blue, but with it they were red.

Her teacher, Mr. T, gave her a map of the circulatory system and sent her on her way. “I’m so excited!” Blake said, “Where do we go first?” Bella looked at the map and saw they had to get to the Superior Vena Cava.

They traveled down a really long vein until they found their destination. A giant sign read "Welcome to the Heart!"

Next they ended up in the Right Atrium Information Center. The person working the information desk told them they were going to have to wait awhile. They were waiting for the Tricuspid valve to open so that they could pass through. Once it opened, Bella and Blake were sent through it to the Right Ventricle Mall.

Once in the Right Ventricle Mall, Bella and Blake walked around and looked at all the different stuff. Bella bought a doll as a souvenir for herself.

After they were done shopping, Bella and Blake went to wait at the Pulmonary Valve Bus Stop to be taken to the Lung Cafe. At the Lung Cafe, they were going to meet up with Ollie Oxygen to take him back.

Once they arrived at the Lung Cafe, they were amazed at all of the other droplets there. Some were blue, like Blake and Bella, and others were red. They got something to eat and sat down to wait for Ollie.

After waiting a few minutes, Bella and Blake headed towards the Capillary Tunnels. They saw an odd looking droplet walking their way. Little did they know, this was Ollie. "Hello you two!" Ollie said, "I'm Ollie Oxygen. You must be Blake and Bella Blood."

Ollie helped Bella and Blake receive the oxygen. Bella looked over and saw that Blake had turned red. "Blake! You're red!" Bella exclaimed. Blake saw that Bella was also red. "So are you!" He said. They both danced with excitement. They couldn't wait to show their friends.

Bella, Blake, and Ollie all headed towards the Pulmonary Artery Bus Stop to begin the second half of their journey. They waited for the bus to arrive. When it did, they got on and rode to the Left Atrium Carnival.
