Your Inspirations, Your Ideas, Your Determination Will Destine You To Be A Legend

Who is Alexander Graham Bell
Alexander Graham Bell is most famous for his invention of the telephone. He first became interested in the science of sound because both his mother and wife were deaf. His experiments in sound eventually led him to want to send voice signals down a telegraph wire.

Thank you for inventing the phone Mr. Graham.

I Was born on March 3, 1847 in Edinburgh Scotland, UK. My Father Melville Bell taught education to the deaf. When I was a child I received most of my early education from My Mother Eliza Grace Symonds who was a gifted pianist and painter despite her being deaf.

At age 11, I attended Edinburgh's Royal High School for four years. I enjoyed science, but my school work showed the contrary. That didn't stop me, because my mind was always thinking.

When I was 12 years old, I invented a de-husking machine for my friends family grain mill. They used it for many years.

When I was 23 I moved to Canada with my parents. Two years later I moved to Boston MA, where I opened a school to teach deaf people how to speak.

When I traveled from the United Kingdom, to Canada, and the United states I developed an overriding desire to invent a machine that could reproduce human sound. I built a workshop and began my experiment during the night and worked during the day

These are actual pictures of my notes and drawings of my thought process

With the help of my friend Thomas Watson, my desire would soon be in existence.

On March 10, 1876 I was in New York City, and my friend was in San Francisco. I called and I said The first words ever heard on a telephone, they were...
"Mr. Watson, come here, I want to see you."

After creating the telephone, my investors and I formed the "Bell Telephone Company" in 1877. The company name has gone through several name changes, but now it is currently known as at&t.
