ONE DAY, Sleek and Slak were exploring the sanctuary of Mexico. BUT THEN, the two friends were kidnapped by anonymous butterfly.

Chapter 1: The Danger

"WHO ARE YOU?" Slak screamed. "LET US GO!" "No," said anonymous butterfly calmly. "No." He took them from Mexico to Buffalo, New York.

Then he flew away, leaving Slak and Sleek at the sidewalk. "Look," said Sleek. "He dropped his wallet." The wallet said the kidnapper's name was Spleek. "He sounds like us," said Slak. Then they heard a man say something. He said to another person,"Ever heard of Niagara Falls?"

"No, I haven't," said the other person. "And neither have I," said Sleek. "Let's go to Niagara Falls, Slak." "Are you sure?" Slak asked. "What if this is just a scam caused by Spleek?" "I doubt it," Sleek answered.

Chapter 2: The Falls

But just then, huge birds came soaring out of the sky. "Fly!" screamed Sleek, his eyes wide in shock. The two monarchs flew for dear life until they came across what seemed like a group of waterfalls altogether.

Chapter 3: The Cruise

Then they saw a boat in the water. They heard people talking and laughing. "Is this some sort of cruise?" asked Slak. "I think so," answered Sleek.

"Well, let's get on!" said Sleek excitedly. "Uh oh," said Slak. "What's wrong?" Sleek questioned. "It's just....," Slak mumbled. "I'm a little seasick."

Just then, a guy came out of the waters. He held a trident and controlled the waves. "I must fulfill my brother's task," he murmured. "My name is Poseidon. I am the creator of waterfalls, so I can get you to the boat."

Poseidon stretched his trident and the butterflies saw a leaf floating in the air. "That shall be your key to the Maid of the Mist," he said. "However, if you stay on it too long, it will break and you will fall."

Chapter 4: The God

"Thanks, Poseidon," the two said. Then they hopped aboard just in time to see Poseidon disappear into the sea. They saw little sticks on the leaf for paddles. "Let's do this," said Sleek. "Uh huh," mumbled Slak. Then they grabbed the sticks and sailed.

They sailed as hard and as frequently as possible, struggling to keep themselves on board. They sailed and sailed until the "boat" was about to sink and they were super close to the Maid of the Mist.

Chapter 5: The Sails

Then they were on the boat. It was the most beautiful thing ever. (Slak wasn't seasick anymore.)

Then they saw a woman. She had long hair and had a humongous group of other women. "My name is Artemis," she said. "I must fulfill my uncle's task." Then she motioned for them to follow and they went to another room. INSIDE WAS SPLEEK!!!! AND HE WAS ON VACATION!!!

What?!? OH! MY! GOSH! IT'S THE MONARCHS I TRIED TO SAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SPLEEK'S PERSPECTIVE

Chapter 6: The Reunion

Chapter 7: Reunion Pt 2

"Guys stop!" Spleek yelled. "I wasn't trying to kidnap you! I was trying to-" "Kill us?" Slak chimed in. "Or hurt us?"

"No!" he said. He reached to a bookshelf that Sleek had never noticed. He began to take out a scroll but then the butterflies realized they had time to escape. SO THEY RAN TO THE CANNONS, hopped in, and exploded themselves to somewhere. They heard Spleek's frantic cries as they went to somewhere. They began to fly over the waterfalls.

Then a silver arrow appeared. "It's from Artemis," Sleek said. "How do you know?" asked Slak. "Because it says, 'FrOm ArTeMiS', he answered. "In really bad handwriting." "Indeed," said Spleek, grinning.

SAID SPLEEK.

"SPLEEK!" screamed Slak, who didn't want to get kidnapped anymore. "RUN!" "I've come to apolog-" "Apollonate?" Sleek said. "The fake word of blasting us to bits?"

Then the two butterflies hopped aboard the silver arrow and it took them to a spot called Saint Louis, Missouri.

Chapter 8: Reunion Pt 3

Then the two saw saw half a McDonalds sign. Then they saw a scroll. They decided to read it.

Dear Butterflies (Besides Spleek),

Head to Missouri and cross to the tallest building. I'm there.

Apollo

Instead of heading to the tallest building, they headed to the shortest building. Apollo was there. They realized no matter what building they went to they would see Apollo. (The building was not a building; it was a two foot rock.)

Apollo said, "Head to the Botanical gardens." Then he disappeared. "Seriously!!" Sleek screamed. "He could have told us that in the scroll!"

They decided not to risk being apollonated, so they flew to the Botanical Gardens. There they saw beautiful flowers and trees and then they saw something: another monarch, clearly on its way back to the Sanctuary of Mexico.

She was tied in ropes and not speaking, Sleek realized, until he saw the gag in her mouth. They flew toward her and then they untied her ropes. "What's your name?" asked Slak, curiously. "Splak," she answered. "I was kidnapped by Spleek." "We were too!" the other two butterflies said. "We're trying to get back to the-" "Sanctuary of Mexico," she finished.

Slak: I'm hungry!

Chapter 9: Splak's Story

Splak said her story. IT WAS TRAGIC.

Terrible. she was kidnapped by Spleek afterwards.

She was on a car. It was a narrow path. Then she was 

kidnapped. she was ultra scared. She scared him with markers. Wasn't that scary. Spleek was a creepster. He was a rude monarch. Evil. Han had a solo. AnOnYmOuS, he said his name was. Spleek was robotic.

Chapter 10: LOLLIPOPS

A new friend joined your party!

SPLAK

Slak then whispered, "I would like a lollipop, Spleek." "Spleek?" asked Sleek. "Look behind you," said a familiar voice. Sleek turned around just in time to see Spleek. They flew as fast as they could with Splak right behind them. Spleek screamed something, but it came out like, "Zen bis thy heal mame!"

The three butterflies (Slak Sleek Splak,) flew all the way to a spot far down in northern Texas. "Dallas," Splak said. She hadn't been talking very much, but they still enjoyed having her around. Then Slak said something that even made Splak laugh; "Can I have a lollipop?"

Chapter 11: Splak's Car

Splak then said, "This is where the race was! I bet I can find my car here." They looked around until they saw a racetrack.

Chapter 11 1/2: Portals

They found a silver car and hopped inside. IT WAS SPLAK'S!! It was intact. She pressed a button and a portal appeared. They dashed through. Then they were in the Arboretum. BUT UPSIDE DOWN!!!!!!!

Then they saw a home. They heard cries and saw a butterfly trapped inside. No. Not one. TWO! No. Not two. THREE!! No. Not three. FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They rammed into the house. The butterflies were freed!

Then the world wasn't upside down anymore. It turned to normal. It was regular, so they could see the beauty in the Arboretum. It was amazing, so it looked- well, amazing. Then one of the monarchs introduced themselves as Spook.

Chapter 12: New Friends?

Slak then said, "Spook, how long were you stuck? When were you first trapped?" "Three days ago," he answered. "By a black monarch named Spleek."

"Spook, who are the other monarchs kidnapped with you?" Sleek asked. "Brothers," he said. "Splook. Sluck. Spluck." They raised their hands whenever he called their names. Then Sleek realized that they hadn't introduced themselves. "I'm Sleek," he said. "He's Slak, and She's Splak." He motioned to his friends. "We were kidnapped by Spleek, too."

Chapter 14: Meet Zeus

"Uh, guys?" Splak said. "It's a weird-looking guy with a lightning bolt. Was he invited to this party?" Sleek threw himself around for his eyes to meet the stormy-gray eyes of Zeus.

He held a lightning bolt in each hand, and was wearing full battle armor, so it looked like he came back from a war. Sleek remembered the myths of heroes named Jason, Percy, Piper, Leo, Annabeth, Reyna, Nico, Frank, Hazel, and more. The blood of Olympus, Sleek thought, smiling.

Then the seven said, "Zeus." Sleek closed his eyes, wondering if it was a dream. Then all the other gods appeared beside him. All twelve Olympians, looking at seven butterflies who wished to annihilate Spleek. Then Hera said,"The Slak one is quite interesting." 

Then Aphrodite said, "I sense something coming from that Slak. Maybe love?" she thought hard. However Sleek was smart and he knew she was the goddess of love so that it was OF COURSE love. He wondered why Slak felt love. Well, he'd ask later. Right now he was dealing with gods, so maybe after. Slak... maybe Splak? Possibly.

Chapter 15: The Council

When Sleek was told to go to bed, at midnight he went Slak's borrowed room, where Slak was lying awake. "What did Aphrodite mean?" Sleek asked him. Slak got startled and fell out of bed.

Stuff fell, waking up the guard dragon. He came inside. "Play dead!" whispered Sleek. They closed their eyes. Sleek heard the guard dragon walk inside and snort. He felt the heat brush his wings and he felt the rumble of his talons for every step. The scariness felt like the scariest scariness of all scariness. (Makes no sense.) Then they got up to see a golden god in his true form, which would have apollonated them all,  but it DIDN'T, which is weird, Sleek thought. YES, HE THOUGHT ALL OF THAT.

THEN Sleek realized the radiance was actually Apollo which should have killed them TWICE. Then Apollo said," Why are you knocking down stuff?"Apollo's true form was even worse than the last one.            He took the word 'Apollo'      from                         'apollonate'.

Then they figured out they could escape so they waited till Apollo blinked and then flew out a window. "Sorry," Slak didn't say. Instead he said," See you tomorrow Apollo." Sleek then realized they might not have a tomorrow.

Then they realized that they forgot the other five butterflies but Sleek said," I stole Apollo's phone, so we can call Splak. Your crush," he added. They called Splak.

Soon they were reunited and Slak couldn't have been happier to see his extra friends. Especially Splak, thought Sleek, grinning. Sleek then flew out of Olympus where they were warped and they were in San Antonio. "Today is February 2," Spluck said. "It says on the sign. It's something called Friday. What's a Friday?"
