For all the children who ever felt lost

Once upon a time, there was a house on Cranberry Hill. A young girl named Mira lived in it.

Mira had a bucketful of toys. This is the story of their biggest adventure yet.
Mira lost her necklace one day. She looked and searched and scavenged and hunted for it all afternoon.

Soon, night had fallen and Mira still couldn’t find her necklace. It was an important gift from her mother.

Eventually she went to bed pretending like nothing had happened. She couldn’t let her mother know!

“Good night, sweetheart. Don’t let the bedbugs bite!” Mom tucked Mira in.

Minutes passed, then hours. Mira was magically transported to the Land of Dreams, and she wouldn’t return until morning. It was the dead of night when the animals came to life.

First there was Pumpkin, a fuzzy orange kitten.

Then there was Slinky, who was- you guessed it- a slinky.
Finally there was Honey, the sweetest teddy bear alive at night.

Honey, Slinky, and Pumpkin were determined to find and restore Mira’s necklace that night.

They formed a game plan like a true team. "Let’s split up,” Honey suggested.
“I’ll take the kitchen and dining room,” Pumpkin volunteered.
“I’ll search the living room and bathrooms,” said Slinky.
“And that leaves me with the bedrooms,” sighed Honey.

Quietly, the three musketeers worked their way around the house.

Pumpkin found nothing in the kitchen but ice cream, which she enjoyed.

Honey was having a hard time opening the doors, so she decided to leave that to Slinky, who could easily slip under them.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Slinky had discovered something rather interesting.

On top of a fluffy bed was a fluffy monster. It was huge and brown and... alive?

It lifted its head, the wet nose twitching. Then it saw Slinky.

“RUN!” Slinky yelled as he stumbled away from the great beast. He wasn’t sure who he was yelling at.

Just as he was rounding the corner, he looked back and saw a glimpse of silver on the monster’s bed. Could it be Mira’s necklace?

Slinky wriggled under Mira’s bedroom door, where he discovered Honey and Pumpkin waiting for him.
