This book and it's characters is based off my passion for one thing. As a child I loved reading about the stories about the heroes and knights fighting the wicked dragons and monsters, and as an adolescent now and having the chance to create a fairy tale of my own, I decide to dedicate it off the fairy tales of the knights and dragons that I read and loved as a young boy. Sometimes, I thank myself for being able to read those stories as a child, as this fairy tale may not have been possible if not for those stories.

Montagne And His Companion!

Once upon a time, there was a knight named Montagne! He was the greatest knight that ever lived! His robes were outfitted with mighty colors of red and purple, and he wore a magnificent cape, to show his courage! His amour was well polished and durable, one of the best amour sets in the whole kingdom! He wielded Stormrazor, the legendary blade, forged by the greatest of blacksmiths in the whole kingdom! Ser Montagne was also accompanied by his trusty companion, Hibanna the horse, an agile and a mighty companion for Ser Montagne.

Ah! What a lovely day! Don't you agree Rook?

The Quest

One day , Montagne was summoned by his king, King Robert. King Robert was the wise and graceful ruler of the Kingsdom of Alegrand. King Robert was a wise and a great ruler, but he needed Ser Montagne's help! King Robert's only heir, the beautiful and elegant Princess Elane had been kidnapped by the claws of the fearsome Red Dragon from her tower overnight! As the greatest knight of Alegrand, King Robert quested Ser Montagne with the quest of rescuing her precious daughter, Princess Elane. Ser Montagne gladly accepted the quest, and he rode on Hibanna to the Red Dragon's lair immediately!

Ser Montagne, rescue my daughter, the princess Elane, and I will reward you with all the glory I have for you!

As you command my King! I will ride to rescue her immediately!

The Rest

After hours of riding through the well known and mysterious Bludhaven Forrest the mighty Montagne and his companion Hibanna halted to a stop. Bludhaven Forrest was a very elusive location, and many only know to it to be the entrance to the fiery Red dragon's lair. Ser Montagne and his horse Hibanna rested adjacent to the bordering trees of Bludhaven. They heard nothing besides the crackling fire of their campsite, keeping them warm and alive, and also the occasional owls hooting and the bushes being slowly pushed around and around by the wind. Bludhaven Forrest was usually isolated and quiet without the presence of many bandits or humans, due to it's reputation for being near the Red Dragon's lair and it's eerie ambiance. Ser Montagne and Rook didn't intend to stay in Bludhaven for long. They intended to gather their strength a ride for the Red Dragon's lair with full force in a matter of hours.

Gather your strength and rest Rook, we ride for the Red Dragon's lair soon, and we will rescue Princess Elane!

The Entrance To The Red Dragon's Lair!

After a few hours of crossing through the dark and eerie plains of Bludaven, the mighty Montagne and his companion Hibanna finally passed through all that green, and arrived on a barren and burning land. They had arrived to the treacherous Red Dragon's lair. His lair, a rotting dark castle was surrounded by volcanic lava and rock, burning as red and yellow glazing sun. Ser Montagne and his companion both took a deep breath, gathering the rest of their remaining strength and began to march through the barren wastelands and into the rotting castle to rescue the princess Elane. Ser Montagne knew he had to rescue the princess. She was the future of Elegrand, and without her, everything would be lost.
