Marty and Meg

Marty and Meg had fond memories of Earth.
It had been almost a full Mars year (687 days)
since they had last visited Earth.
They were older now. They were
almost 8 Mars years old!
That's about 16 Earth years
to you!

The Martian brother and sister knew that they
would have to do some fast talking to convince
their parents that they were old enough to take a
trip to Earth on their own.

That evening, while the family stood around a warm
bowl of mum's favourite Martian soup, Marty and
Meg did their fast talking!
Zip, zip, zippety, zipzip, zip, zip, zip, zip
Ditto!

Not quite realizing what they had agreed to, Monty
and his lovely wife, Marg, kissed their children
farewell, confident that the quick-thinking
chameleon would keep their kids
safe from harm.

After flying for what seemed like days, in fact,
it did seem like the longest 58 million kilometres
they had ever travelled in their lives, the two
exited their spaceship feeling strangely like they
had never left Mars at all.
Are you sure we tookthe right turn?

Quicker than you can say "Uluru", Marty and Meg
were up and away looking for greener pastures.

Meg noticed that humansin New Zealand had very big
feet!
What a big shoe!

Marty and Meg landed in Fiji. They had never been
swimming before. "Let's go for a swim!" said
Marty. "We don't have any bathers" Meg replied.
"That doesn't matter. We'll go for a swim
anyway," replied Marty.

They call this thing a Merlion?
When Marty and Meg arrived in Singapore they
saw the strangest creature.

Marty and Meg couldn't wait to
tell their dad about the Great
Wall of China!
What a beautiful wall!

These statues are cool! I wonder if there areany tigers in Indonesia?

What is that thing?
A great big horse in Turkey? Hey, where'sChameleon?

When Marty and Meg got to Santorini they thought
they saw some more spaceships.
"Next stop, the Acropolis" said
Marty.

Hey Meg, look at RedSquare!
Russia is cool. That looks like a castle!

These Swedish humanshave a funny way of
getting down a hill!

Phew! That was a closeone, Marty!
Holland sure is a lotmore colourful than
Mars!

Marty and Meg were getting quite hungry when
they got to Hungary!

I love the log cabins andNorthern Lights in Norway!

Marty and Meg were amazed
when they saw Neuschwanstein
castle in Germany. "Next stop

soccer!" said Marty.
