This is a digital visualization of the solar system. I've kept the project to a 3rd grade reading level. This would be a great example to show students to make their own scientific or nonfiction book.

This is the solar system. The solar system is what we call the sun and the eight planets that surround it.
This is the sun. It is at the center of the solar system. The sun is largest part of the solar system and is made up of super hot gas.

This is Mercucry. It is the closest planet to the sun.


This is Venus. It's next after Mercury. It is also the hottest planet in the Solar System.
Next is Earth. We live on Earth and it is the only planet that has life on it.


After Earth is Mars. It is called the Red Planet. Mars gets its red coloring from iron found on its surface.
