This book is dedicated to those who struggle with creativity. Let the World around you be your inspiration.

As class came to an end, Mrs. Adams called our attention to the board.
She explained that we would be spending all week to work on our creative art project.
"You will need to be very creative and think way out of the box for this assignment," Mrs. Adams explained.
"I want you all go go home and brain storm some of your most creative ideas over the weekend."

Creative Art Project
-Students will use their creativity to create an art project related to our unit on weather.
-Due in one week.
As I stood in the back of the class, I felt completely terrified.
"But I'm not creative," I whispered to my friend Molly.
Everyone began to pack up their things and get ready to go home but I couldn't get over the awful feeling I felt inside.
"I'm just not creative," I thought to myself as I packed my bag to leave.

As I sat in my normal seat on the school bus, I was terrified by the possibility that I would not be able to come up with anything for my project.
While everyone else talked about going swimming or playing video games together, I sat alone thinking to myself "why can't I just be creative?"
Right when I walked through the door from school I heard my mom call "Hi Katie! How was your day honey?"
I went into her room to find her putting away her clothes.
"It was awful," I said as I plopped down on her bed.
"Oh come on, I'm sure it wasn't awful," mom replied. "Now tell me what makes you think it was so bad."

"Mrs. Adams gave us a ridiculous project today. We have to be creative and create a whole project based on our "super creative" idea," I said putting quotations around the super creative part because we both knew I could never do that.
"And the worst part is, I have to have some good ideas by Monday! Monday Mom," I exclaimed.
"Now Katie, it won't be hard at all. All you need is to find a little inspiration and you'll be set."
I was glad Mom thought so because I was not feeling very hopeful.

Despite all my worrying on Friday, by Saturday morning I had almost forgotten about the project. That was until I went to have breakfast with my mom.
"Good morning dear. Spend any time thinking about some creative project ideas," my mom asked as soon as I walked in the kitchen.
"I've thought about it alright. I've still come up with nothing. I just can't do it," I huffed feeling very frustrated.
I've never had an artistic side which I was always fine with but now I just felt dumb.

I spent the rest of Saturday avoiding Mom while just hanging out in my room.
Shortly before bed I glanced up at my "We can do it," poster and said to myself "I definitely can't do it."
As I tried to fall asleep I couldn't help but think that I only had one more day until Monday. I have to think of something fast.

Sunday evening had finally rolled around and I decided to go spend some time playing with our dog Bo before I had to shower and go to bed.
I had given up on ideas for my project and just wanted to enjoy the rest of my weekend.
As I chased Bo around I realized that I must have left my notebook under the tree while I was writing this afternoon.

As I walked over to grab my notebook, I noticed that it looked a little strange on the front.
"Is it dirty," I asked myself as I kept walking towards the tree.
I couldn't quite tell what was on my notebook until I got a little closer.
It was a paw print. Bo's paw print actually.
