One day Kara was at church. It was storming and raining very badly. Her and her best friend Clare were telling each other things they wished would come true. Little did they know what was coming. " For Covid-19 to go away" Clare said. " For me to go to real school and for us to be sisters" Kara said. All of a sudden lightning struck the building freezing them all for a second. They didn't know what happened. They continued on with the night. After service everyone went home. They all felt different but didn't know how or why. In the morning there was school. Kara didn't get what was wrong, there just was something not right. By Sunday Kara had had it. She had to ask someone so she decided to ask Clare. Do you feel different? Like, is
something not right?"Kara asked. Clare replied, "Ya, like, something's different, but I can't tell what, it's just there." Kara and Clare couldn't focus on the sermon. They kept giving each other silent looks. You could tell they were thinking about it. They asked their friends Brooklyn and Adilynn about it. They too felt weird. All four of them were wondering. So they asked Kalena about it. She said the same thing as the rest of them. Kara and Clare talked and they were going to make a list of questions and see if they can answer them or if other people can. They decided to keep the information to themselves until further notice. They wrote the questions that day and called that a days work.
They would start the answering tomorrow.
What time?
Where were we when we started to feel weird?
What was going on?
Why don't we know what happened before we felt weird?
In the morning, after school, Clare and Kara got right on to the questions. "How hard can four questions be?" Kara said. "What time? Uhhhhhh?" "Come back to it maybe? " Clare suggested. " Ya, it's just one question . . . hopefully." Kara replied.

"Next question. Where were we when we started to feel weird?" Kara said. "I don't know that one either. You?" "No. Maybe if we turn on the news it will say something that reminds us of what it might be," Clare said. "Ya, we should do that," replied Kara. The girls turned on the tv to the news channel. All they heard was, "...now after the update on yesterday, which we'll give more about tonight at seven. Now let's get to traffic," said the newsman. The girls didn't think to check the weather station. So they went back in the bed room. The girls decided to see if they could think of any information or if they heard any, otherwise just wait till Sunday to ask around. Sunday came and they went to Dunk'n Donuts for breakfast.
Then they went to church. They got their sticker and they went in. It felt weird to the girls to go to Sunday school. But everything felt weird at this point. Then Adilynn asked, " What's with your name tags?" Right after she got that out Sunday school started. After that, Kara and Clare made sure their parents kept their part of the name tag. The girls did the same. They checked but didn't see any thing different. Clare gave Kara her sticker since she invited Adilynn over and Brooklyn invited Clare over. But all of their questions are over at Kara's house. Clare asked Brooklyn if she remembered anything from that night. No one remembers what happened. She said, "No." Kara asked Adilynn,"Do you remember anything
from the night when we started feeling like everything was mixed up?" Kara asked. "Not right off, no. I'll keep thinking though," replied Adilynn. "Ok. Thanks,"Kara said. "I really wonder what happened then? It just doesn't make sense." Adilynn said,"Ya, I don't know. Everyone feels weird but doesn't know why. Guess it's a mystery." Kara or Clare didn't tell about their questions they had made. The girls didn't ask about the nametag. They figured if they could recognize it right of the bat they could figure it out. When Adilynn went to the bathroom Kara checked the name tag. She couldn't find anything. Kara assumed she was over thinking 'cause she was worried Adilynn wold see her. At 5 they dropped Adilynn
