the Compassionate, the Merciful

There was a time when Allah Most High existed and nothing else. Allah was perfect as He is. From the wisdom of Allah Most High, He chose to create people with free will that have the ability to worship and to know Him. Allah Most High Said, “We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me." (51:56)
“He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing.” (al-Hadid 57:3)
“Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs.” (az-Zumar 39:62)
“All that is in the heavens and the earth will perish, but the Face of your Lord, full of Majesty and Honor, will remain.” (ar-Rahman 55:26–27)
Question:
If Allah existed before everything was created, how could we ever know that except through revelation? Is there another way?
The first life begins with the creation of Adam in paradise. Allah spoke to the children of Adam, the father of all people. Allah said to the souls of all people, “Am I not your Lord?” They replied, “Yes, You are! We Testify! He cautioned, “Now you have no right to say on Judgement Day, we were not aware of this.” (7:172)
Allah MOST HIGH spoke to the souls and the souls of all people from His pre-eternal speech. Indeed, there existed hearing and speech prior to physical creation of form. We can understand that hearing and speech exist in other dimensions.
Close your eyes. Take a quiet breath and let your mind become still.
Say “Allah” ﷻ inside your heart. Not with your lips, just in your mind.
Now say it louder and louder in your mind, as if your heart is shouting it.
Next, say it softer and softer until it feels like a whisper.
Now, imagine hearing it in your mother’s voice.
Imagine hearing it in the voice of a child.
Imagine hearing it in many voices at once.
Finally, let all the voices fade until only silence remains, but the awareness of Allah stays with you.
The Prophet Muhammad’s radiant soul, peace be upon him, also existed in the person of Adam, and it is said that it is due to the light of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, that Adam and all the Prophets were illuminated with Prophecy.
When Allah Most High showed all of the souls to the angels in the heavens the amount of children that were within Adam, the angels said, “Allah, surely the earth will not fit all of them.” Allah replied to the angels, “I have created death.” Then the angels said, “Then they will never be happy.” Allah replied, “I am creating hope.”
When Allah Most High showed Adam, upon him be peace, the children within him, Adam saw one soul that was particularly beautiful and asked Allah who it was. Allah informed him it was the Prophet Dawood. Adam, upon him be peace, then asked how long Dawood will live for. Allah informed him he will live for sixty years, and Adam asked Allah to give Dawood forty years of his own life that Dawood may live for one hundred years.
It is narrated that Adam, upon him be peace, used to hear the Messenger of Allah within him, with a beautiful sound like the rustling of birds until Hawa (Eve) became pregnant with Sheith (Seth). This is when the light began to transfer from one Prophet to the next.
The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said to his companions one day, “When Allah spoke to Moses, upon him be peace, he asked him, “Oh Lord, have you created any creature dearer to You than myself. For you have chosen and preferred me over mankind and spoke to me from Mount Sinai.”
Allah replied to Moses, “Oh Moses did you not know that Muhammad is dearer to me than all of creation? I looked into the hearts of My servants and chose you for My Speech. Therefore, make sure that you die upon Divine unity and the love of Muhammad.” Peace and blessings be upon him.
Allah said to Moses, “Did you not know that the eminence of the nation of Muhammad over other nations is like My eminence over the whole of my creation? You will not see them, but if you wish you may hear their speech.” Moses replied,
“I do wish to hear.”
So Allah Most High called upon the nation of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and they all answered with one voice, “Labayyak”
