FMV AYAZAGA ISIK SECONDARY SCHOOL

Ever since I could remember I’ve always wanted to be an astronaut. It all started at 3rd grade. When Miss Kelly make us watch a documentery about space. I was fascinated. At that day I realized that’s what I wanna do for the rest of my life. Not just exploring space I wanted to be there. Everybody laughed at me. My friends, relatives and even my sisters .They all said it was a childhood dream. I remember that one day Uncle John, Aunt Jenna and my grandparents came to visit. They all asked me what I wanted to be when I said an astronaut. They all looked at each other and started laughed. I was so confused. Then Uncle John said : “You know when I was at your age I wanted to be a football player. When you get older you will understand it was just a phase. Every young boys and girls like you wants to be something different. But when they get older the respondes starts to look alike. Because everyone starts to realize that the real jobs which brings money to live are limited. At the end they understand that what they wanted to be was just a dream. ”
That day my grandparents taught me what are “real jobs”. You know he was right. Unlike me, everyone changed their dream job to something similar to each other. But not me I always wanted to be an astronaut.
Which brings us here, today. Only hours is left for me to be the first woman to walk on moon. You know what is more funny, Uncle John is here watching me. Yeah, you are like it’s more like ironic.
–Okay, Miss Katherine we are ready. You are going to be the first woman to walk on moon in 10,9,8,...3,2,1
The next thing I remember was looking down the earth from space. It was wonderful. I did it, I was in space ! 2 days later I remember arriving to the moon. Walking on it was like jumping on a tramboline but ten times higher. We took some rocks and dust. It felt like sand, but not everysand. Like when you go to the beach at 6 pm to watch the sunset. And the sand is not that hot but not that cold, not that dry but not that moist. It was like that. After taking some samples and exploring environment whe got in to our space ship and come back. We were surrounded by amazing colours and a beautiful view. When we come back I did a bunch of interviews. But that is not the important part. The important part is that I made it even everbody telling me to pick another job. I was the first woman to walk on Moon.
Don’t let anybody take you down because they didn’t accomplish their dreams in life. You don’t need anybody because you and your motivation is enough for you to achieve your dreams. And when you start working on it nothing can stop you, you are all the way up. Don’t forget you can do anything you’ve made up your mind to.
