Every year, the little town of Trifle had a grand and extravagant baking competition. Every baker in the woods would come and show off their sour lemon pies, crispy blueberry crumbles and chocolate cake that melted on your tongue.
The citizens of Trifle were sure that Granny Agatha would win for the fourth time with her outstanding goodies that made people cry with delight.

Granny Agatha lived in her famous Gingerbread house near the edge of the town. It was quiet there which was better to work on her goodies. She had to start preparing for the baking competition.
Rumors had been going around about a person who was breaking into bakery's and restaurants. Agatha had heard these rumors but she didn't believe them. Who would try to rob her?

Agatha decided to bake a chocolate toffee mousse cake recipe. All she needed was a cup of baking powder and she could get that from the store in the village. She quickly went around pouring flour in a bowl and softening butter. Soon the house was smelling delicious.
"I better get to the store" Agatha said, as she noticed it was in the afternoon. Just then she felt a strange feeling. She turned around but there was nothing strange in her room.
However she couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching her...

Meanwhile...."No desserts!" Gretel said, pulling off a bright gold wig "only porridge!. Those three bears were useless and at this rate we will never win the Trifle Baking Competition!". "Calm down, Gretel" said Hansel, over in a corner of their cabin home "I have just finished spying on Granny Agatha's house. We can sneak in there at night and grab her recipes".
Then the two evil twins let out a hearty evil laugh. "AH HA HA HA HA HAAAAA". And began to hatch a plan.

Agatha made her way with her bag for the baking powder down the trail to the village, not noticing the two kids tiptoeing behind trees on the other side of the trail.
Hansel and Gretel made their way to Granny's house to hatch their devious plan, not noticing how the bag Granny Agatha was carrying seemed to be heavy.
