I am a teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and former preschool educator with a passion for language, literacy, and inclusion. My book, "Laurent Clerc: The Man Who Gave Hands a Voice", shares the story of the French deaf teacher who helped bring sign language and deaf education to America. Through teaching and writing, I strive to celebrate deaf history and inspire classrooms where every child’s voice—spoken or signed—is valued.
