Guest Speaker
A guest speaker is someone that comes to speak to a group of people that knows a specific topic.
Having a guest speaker can improve a class and gets the students excited about the topic the guest speaker is talking about. The students get inspired and they learn something new that the physical education teacher might not have known. The guest speaker gives the students a different perspective about the topic.
Maybe having a basketball player or a hockey player would get the students excited about the sport and the techniques.
Learning Centers

Learning centers are self-contained section of the classroom in which students engage in independent and self-directed learning activities.
Having different learning centers around the gym for the kids to work on different task keeps the kids motivated. Learning centers in physical education can be designed to enhance the learning of concepts, skills, themes, or topics.
For PE one class do could do learning centers and the centers could be jumping rope, hopscotch, hula hoop, and kicking a soccer ball into a net or wall.
Modeling

Modeling is an instructional strategy in which the teacher demonstrates a new concept or approach to learning and students learn by observing.
Modeling is where the teacher is showing the students what the task is and this is important for the kids to visually see what they are going to do. This makes sure the students aren't confused on the activity. In PE getting one of the students to model what the task is, so everyone can see what their classmate is doing would help them get the task better.
In PE, the teacher could model the stretches to show the students, or to show how to dribble the basketball with both hands.
Journals & Learning logs

Journaling:
students can use this tool to reinforce what they are learning when they are exercising as well as communicate their feelings about physical education
In PE, having the students journal their health journeys and they thoughts about physical education helps them with them being more engaged with physical education. Also, the students could long how many sit-ups or how many push-ups they could do over the course of the year to see improvements.
KWL Chart
