Hi I'm Polly the puppy and when I grow up, I want to be the president of the United States

See that big building up there on the hill, that's where the president lives, and one day I am going to live there!

This is the Whitehouse where the president lives once they are elected  

This is President Harry the Husky, people the United States voted for him because of his eager personality to help our country, he is a role model for so many young pups like me!

Now that Polly is 35 years old and has lived in her country her whole life she is now ready to run for presidency 

You definitely have our vote future Mr. President

I would like to announce that I am officially running for president 

Since I have chosen to run for president I have created a team that will help me throughout my race!

This past year Polly has been a very busy pup. From shaking many paws to visiting a lot of states to have the pups of America listen to her new ideas for the country. In the first part of the year she was trying to win the votes of the pups for the primary elections, Polly is looking to win the popular vote so that she will win for the republican party.

When you vote you can either vote as a republican, democrat, or a third party. These groups are organized into pups with similar ideas!

Now it is time for the Primary Elections! During this time the states vote in either a closed primary which means that if you are registered as a democrat you must vote for the democratic candidate and vice versa. If your state has an open primary you may vote for whomever you want no matter your political affiliation!

In some states instead of a primary election they hold caucuses, this is when pups from your state gather in a public place to discuss and vote for their preferred nominee
