This is Frankie. Frankie is 7 years old, but she is not very good at sharing. She doesn’t like to share her toys so when she is at school she makes people upset which means that people don’t want to be her friend. 

This makes Frankie sad, but she still doesn’t know how to share. She needs someone to come and help her learn!

Yesterday in school, Frankie snatched a dolly from Poppy, it made poppy sad and when she asked for it back, Frankie shouted a said: “NO, GO AWAY!” Poppy started to cry and she told the teacher. Now Frankie has no friends at all! Nobody wants to play with Frankie, they all think she is mean.

The next morning, when Frankie woke up from her beauty sleep, she noticed something different. When she went to sleep last night, her room was clean. Her mommy had tidied it for her, but now it was messy! "How could this have happened?" She said. There was some type of glitter all over the floor! Frankie didn't know what had caused it. Then, all of a sudden, she heard a squeaky voice.

"Hello Frankie!" the squeaky voice sounded out. Frankie looked around, she was shocked. She looked in all her boxes of toys, all her drawers and finally under her bed. Nothing! Frankie then felt a tug on her hair and as she looked around, she saw a beautiful little fairy on her side. She blinked twice, not knowing what she was really thinking. Am I in a dream? she thought. But she wasn't in a dream. This was real life!!

"I'm here to teach you a lesson!"

Frankie was gobsmacked! This was something she only saw in her story books! "I'm here to teach you a lesson!" the fairy squeaked loudly. "A lesson about what?" she questioned. "Sharing. Frankie, I have been sent to teach you how to share and why sharing is good! Right now, you never share,"

Frankie thought about yesterday at school. She hadn't shared the dolly with her friend and it made her friend cry. She nodded and got ready for school.

  WHY IS SHARING GOOD?

- Sharing is good because if you share things with people, you can make others happy!

- Sharing is good because it is a kind action and kindness is the key to everything!

- Sharing is good because it can be the key to friendships!

- Sharing is good because you should teach others how to share so everyone is happy! 

- Sharing is good because sharing is caring!

On the way to school, the fairy gave her a letter which taught her why sharing is good! She began to think long and hard about sharing and about how it will make things better for everyone! She also saw the sad look her best friend gave her when she didn't sit next to her on the school bus. Maybe she should apologise. What do you think?

When she got to school, she saw her best friend. She approached her. "I'm really sorry for not sharing with you yesterday. She smiled and hoped her friend would understand. Her best friend giggles and said "It's okay Frankie! Come over here and play with us."

That is what Frankie did.
