We dedicate this project to all curious minds and open hearts ,to the students who believe that learning has no borders,
and to the teachers who guide them with passion and hope.
Together, we discover not only our countries,
but also the beauty of collaboration, respect, and friendship!

How old are you?

The bar graph showing student ages indicates that the majority of participants in the "Discovering Our Countries" program are primarily between 9 and 12 years old, with 11 being the most common age group. This demographic information is crucial as it helps define the appropriate learning level and activities for the program, ensuring content is tailored to the cognitive and developmental stage of the core student group.
What’s your favorite hobby?

The chart shows that students mainly enjoy football and drawing, followed by tennis and basketball.
These preferences are perfect for our "Discovering Our Countries" program: We can include games, sports, or art activities from other countries. This will make learning more fun and hands-on, fitting what children already enjoy.
What's your favorite food?

The chart highlights children's top food choices, like pizza (58%) and spaghetti (23%). These show a preference for globally familiar tastes.
The D.O.C"Discovering Our Countries" program can leverage this by using food to explore cultures. Introducing traditional dishes offers a fun, hands-on way to learn about different countries, making discovery delicious.
Which of the following countries would you like to travel to?

The chart reveals student interest in countries for our D.O.C. "Discovering Our Countries"program. France, Spain, and Italy are clearly the top choices. Other countries also spark some interest.
This helps us create an exciting program. By focusing on countries students already love, we can motivate them to learn and explore different cultures with more enthusiasm. Learning becomes an exciting journey!

Do you know any traditions from these countries?

Student responses show that before the D.O.C. "Discovering Our Countries" program, about half (50.7%) knew some traditions, while the other half (49.3%) did not.
This presents a great learning opportunity. The D.O.C. program can build on existing knowledge, using teamwork and discussion to help all students learn more about traditions.
Is there a dance, song or a tradition from your country that you would like to show to children from other countries?

It's very encouraging that the vast majority (74.7%) of children would like to show a tradition from their own country to children from other countries. This reveals a strong willingness to share and actively participate.
Combining this information, the "Discovering Our Countries" program can build on this desire for interaction, helping children discover new cultures while also sharing their own, creating a rich learning experience.
What would you like to learn about other countries via the project?

This chart shows us exactly what students want to learn about other countries through the "Discovering Our Countries" program.
We can clearly see that the vast majority of children want to learn "All Above," meaning songs, customs, flags, famous artists, and famous sights. This indicates a broad and complete interest in different cultures.
This strong interest is a powerful learning tool. The program can use the children's enthusiasm to offer them rich and varied knowledge, keeping them active and excited throughout the activities.
