My name is Montse. I'm 42 years old. I'm the English teacher in Miquel Marti i Pol school. Our school is in Viladecans. It is a town near Barcelona. 

My school is big. There are a lot of classes. My favourite class is the New York class. I'm always there.

We also have a big playground and a big gym with a theatre stage where we can watch theatre plays in English.

Our school is Miquel Martí i Pol.  It is big, beautiful and there are  many classes. We are in 6th grade.Our school is in Viladecans, a big town not far from Barcelona. There are approximately 475 students.The school consists of two buildings. The school is 19 years old. This school has three floors. There are gym, library, dining room, the smart classroom, the coworking, etc.

    INTRODUCTION

FIRST FLOOR: The hall, the library, the canteen, the teachers' room and the music rooms. 

The first thing you can see when you enter the school is the hall. Next to it, we have the library, the teachers' room, the canteen and the music classes. 

In the library there are a lot of books and comfortable sits to sit and read. 

In the canteen there are a lot of tables and a kitchen, where Reme cooks delicious food. 

Next to the teacher's room there is one of the music rooms. In this room there are a lot of instruments such as ukeleles, flutes and a piano.

FIRST FLOOR: The Agora, the coworking, the New York class, the smart classroom and the laundry.

On the first floor we also have a smart classroom, an agora class, the New York class, the teachers’ room, the coworking class and a restaurant.           

There is a smart classroom. In the smart classroom there are tables, chairs and sofas. Also, next to this class, we have a coworking class where we do activities and reading in groups. In the school we have an agora class and in this class sometimes we do english. And we have the New York class, in this class we practise english. Also, we have a teachers room. In these class the teachers eat breakfast and they work together. And we have the restaurant. In this restaurant we do the breakfast for the teachers.

SECOND FLOOR: Classrooms, arts class, playground and the gym.

I'm the playground for primary students.

I'm a kitchen in the playground of the youngest students.

In the gym there is a big scenery and also storage room with material for physical education. The gym is used to do physical education and to practice performances on the stage.

There are two playgrounds: one for the little ones and one for the big ones. In the large courtyard there are picnic tables, tennis tables and a very large court. In the courtyard for the youngest students there are slides etc.

The art class is very large with large tables so that the children can do their crafts in peace. In this class there are 4 or 5 tables. 

THIRD FLOOR and THE BUILDING OF THE YOUNGEST STUDENTS

The third floor has many classrooms and tutorial rooms. There is also a material storage room and a bathroom for the teachers. On the opposite side, there is a green space and a red space, where we make activities in small groups. This floor is used for fourth to sixth grade classes.

On the same floor, in a building next to this one, there is the kindergarten area. The classrooms are big. Inside, there are many toys, books, and learning games. The playground is very large, and there is a kitchen, a lot of toys, and even a small castle! On the same floor, there are special rooms like the sensory room, the math room, a small gym where the little kids do P.E., and the art room.

A DAY IN OUR SCHOOL 

On a normal day we start school at 9 o'clock. For example, today we are going to explain a normal Monday. First, we have interdisciplinary project with Noemi from 9:00 to 10:00. Then, half of the group goes to speaking activities with Montse and the other group stays in class and corrects homework or reads the class book. At 10:30, we switch groups. Break time starts at 11:00 and finishes at 11:30. When break time starts music plays. There is a space to play table tennis, a track where we play different games, and a climbing wall. When break time ends music plays again. After the break time we have class with Maria Jose, and then we go to lunch. Some people go home and some stay for lunch here. Lunchtime is from 12:30 to 3:00. Next we return to class and do math from 3:00 to 4:00. We finish by reading our class book for 30 minutes.

We are two teachers from Greece. I'm an English teacher and my name is Foteini, and this is Rena, the ICT teacher. We work in the 10th Primary School of Kalamaria in Thessaloniki. Our school is a relatively big school full of 350 happy students and creative ideas!

In our school, we love learning English and using computers. Our students enjoy playing in the school yard and doing fun projects together, like this eTwinning activity!
