Mat and Matik were very good friends. They were very excited to start school.Today was their first day at school.They loved math class.They counted the numbers and headed to school and sat in their classrooms.

In their first math class, the teacher gave them a sheet with interesting exercises. Mat and Matik began solving them together, each taking turns explaining how they arrived at their solution. The teacher smiled seeing them so passionate. "Math is like an adventure," she told them. "Every problem has its solution, and you are the ones who discover it!"

The teacher told them that let's explore the fun world of mathematics together. And he asked them to go to the grocery store today as homework and take note of how much they were going to do their shopping. Mat and Matik eagerly waited for the shopping time.

Mat ve Matik sayıları seven meraklı iki çocuktu. 

"Ağırlığı kontrol edelim," dedi Mat, çantayı daha iyi dengelemek için elmaları biraz ayarlayarak. 

Matik başını salladı ve muz torbasını tartıya ekledi. Sayılar bir an titredi ve ardından 2 kilograma karar kıldı.

Matematiği kullandığınızda alışveriş eğlencelidir! dedi Mat.

Mat ve Matik gülümsedi-bir matematik macerası daha tamamlandı!

The next day they went to school in an excited way. They had done their homework willingly. The teacher entered the classroom and asked them what they had done. They told the teacher about their shopping and how they'd weighed the weights. They said it was so fun to learn maths after all!

The teacher smiled contentedly and said:

— What a great experience! Mathematics is all around us. Who wants to tell us more about how they used math in everyday life?

Matik eagerly raised his hand.

— Yesterday, when I went to the store with my mom, I helped her calculate the correct change! I added up the prices of the products in my head and almost didn’t need the cashier!

— Wonderful! said the teacher. Who else has an example?

Mat thought for a moment and then exclaimed:

— Ah! I also used math when I made a cake with my grandmother! I had to make sure we added exactly 250 grams of flour and 100 grams of sugar. Without math, the cake wouldn't have turned out as good!

The class laughed, and the teacher applauded.
