Chapter 1: The Energetic Boy
Chris was a bright and curious 12-year-old boy. He loved to explore, ask questions, and try new things. However, Chris had one small problem—he could not sit still. In class, he often fidgeted in his seat, tapped his pencil on the desk, or whispered to his friends. His teachers liked him because he was smart, but they often told him, "Chris, please focus!"
Chapter 2: Trouble at School
One day, Chris had a math test. He knew the answers, but he finished early and started drawing on his paper. Then, he looked around and saw his friend Sam struggling. Chris wanted to help, so he whispered, "Do you need help?" Unfortunately, the teacher saw him and thought he was cheating. "Chris, no talking during the test!" she said. Chris felt embarrassed. He did not mean to break the rules, but it kept happening.
Chapter 3: A Talk with Mom and Dad
That evening, Chris’s parents asked about his day. "I got in trouble again," he admitted. "I don’t mean to be bad. I just can’t sit still." His mother smiled kindly. "We know, Chris. Maybe we can find a way to help you focus." His father suggested, "What if you take small breaks to move around when you study?" Chris liked that idea.
Chapter 4: Finding a Hobby
Chris’s parents encouraged him to join a sports team. He tried basketball, but he didn’t like it. Then, he tried running, and he loved it! Running made him feel free, and he could use all his extra energy. "I feel amazing!" Chris said after his first race. His parents were happy to see him enjoying himself.
Chapter 5: A New Strategy at School
Chris talked to his teacher, Ms. Miller, about his problem. She agreed to let him stand up quietly when he felt restless. She also gave him a small stress ball to squeeze when he needed to focus. These small changes helped Chris a lot. He started paying attention in class and got better grades.
Chapter 6: Helping Others
One day, Chris noticed his friend Mia had trouble concentrating too. "Try this," he said, giving her a stress ball. "It helps me." Mia thanked him and smiled. Chris felt proud. He wasn’t just helping himself—he was helping his friends too.
