S-Science
This is a photo of me at pineapple dream, which is one place I work. To make a half bag of the mix, I have to measure and weigh the bag to get it just right. This reminds me of science because science is full of finding measurements and weights of different substances.

Measuring is the Dream

The College Life
As a professional college student, I am always doing what is fast and cheap. That includes, utilizing my microwave found in my apartment. Most of the time I am using my microwave to make food, (like the ravioli that just went in) but today I questioned, how does it even work? Well apparently, there is a bunch of science like electromagnetic waves used to heat the food quickly. Who knew science was so useful.

As an old man at heart, I am very much a coffee drinker. So much so, that every time I go to a coffee shop, I have to buy one of their roasts. When I was in Denver, I bought a roast at a coffee shop and my dad wanted to try it. So, I took the roast to my parents' house, and we gave it a try. But it made me wonder, how do you get coffee from the grounds. Well, there is actually a ton of science involved. One example is that water has to pass through the grounds creating a physical change in the coffee.
Coffee=Best Drink

Red Rocket
This is a picture of my beautiful 2010, red Hyundai Elantra, known as Red Rocket. This picture was taken outside of where I live. As you can see, my car is pretty red which earned it the name Red Rocket. That got me thinking, how did my car become red in the first place? Well, I learned that science did that. Chemistry was involved in making the paint that turns my car red.
T- Technology

Can You Hear Me?
This is a photo of me at the Air and Space Museum in Denver. This photo was taken in a room full of radios that would be found in older model planes. As you can see, these radios are very different from the ones we use today. When I saw these radios, it made me think of how much technology has advanced. However, this was top notch technology during that time.

Movie Theater at Home!
This is a photo of my 65in TV found in the living room of my apartment. From the looks of it, you can see it is basically a movie theater at home. I never really realize how technology is involved when I watch movies on my TV. But when I think about it, it is really amazing how with the click of a button, I can watch any movie I desire, in full color, in the comfort of my home. Much better than a box TV!

Green Means Go
When I was driving the other day, getting ready to turn on Fairlawn Rd, I found myself looking at the traffic light more than usual. To clarify, I was in the turn lane and my light was not green yet. Anyways, it made me think, how do traffic lights work anyways? Well, there is actually a ton of technology involved. Up to date traffic lights are able to adapt to the traffic by using sensors, video systems, and edge devices. Just think of how many accidents technology has prevented.

If you are not a big fan of food, unlike me, you may not know that this is Spin Pizza's menu board. While I was about to pick out what meal I wanted, I began to wonder how a menu board like this works. This menu board is actually known as a digital menu board. All changes that need to be made to the board, can be done easily through the company's personal device. Digital menu boards also allow the use of videos like the one below the kid's menu section. Now thanks to technology, ordering my pizza was very easy.
