Something we can't live without... Our laptops!
A laptop is STEM because engineers use science and math to design its hardware, and technology and coding to allow it to process information, run programs, and connect to people digitally.
What's a college student's favorite item?

You think you can go?...NOPE
One of the most annoying but lifesaving things...Traffic lights! Traffic lights are STEM because engineers and programmers use science, technology, and math to control traffic flow, improve safety, and reduce traffic congestion at intersections.

Don't know where to go?...I got you!
I would be lost without this...Google Maps! Google Maps is STEM because satellites and mathematical calculations work together to find your location and create accurate directions in real time to your desired destination.

Fresh breathable air incoming!
This item truly saves my lungs... the air purifier! Air purifiers are STEM because engineers use science and math to design filtration systems, while technology and sensors monitor and improve indoor air quality automatically.

A living room's iPad!
This is an item most people have in their living rooms... a TV! TVs are STEM because science and engineering are needed to create the display and sound systems, while technology and math process digital signals to produce clear pictures and audio.

The phone of DOOM!
These are used at my job; without these, you literally can't do anything! These Zebra handhelds are STEM because they use science-based scanners, engineered hardware, and technology powered by math to track products and manage inventory.

Is this an Amazon Locker??
These are used at my job to charge our handhelds (previous slide)! These device lockers are STEM because technology and engineering were used to create the charging and storage systems, while science and math help manage the power, security, and device tracking.

Sweating or Shivering? NO MORE!
This is the HVAC System at my job, a literal lifesaver! HVAC systems are STEM because engineers use science and math to move and control the air, while technology and sensors regulate the temperature and keep the environment comfortable.
