I dedicate my book to Mr. Vaught

Geography
In class we've learned many things about geography an example is that there are seven continents Asia, Africa, Australia, Antartica, Europe, North America, and South America, and the main oceans are the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, and Artic.

Economics
Mr. Vaught has taught us alot about the economies. There are 4 main types of economies; Traditional, Market, Command, and Mixed. Some countries have a higher GDP than others which means they are a developed country. If they have a lower GDP they are a developing country.

Government

Mr. Vaught also taught us about Government. There are 7 types to be exact. The Tribal Rule, Direct Democracy, Representative Democracy/Republic, Constitutional Monarchy, Dictatorship, Absolute Monarchy, and Oligarchy. My favorite one is the Absolute Monarchy
YASSSS QUEEN!
Culture
Culture is the way of life of a group of people. Some examples of culture are traditons, religons, beliefs, food, customs, Government, etc. Mr. Vaught taught us about cultural diffusion which is the movement of customs and ideas. Being able to spread things throughout the world is amazing!

Religion
In Mr. Vaughts class we talked about the 5 major world religions; Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism. We also learned the difference between Monothestic and Polythestic. Monothestic means you worship one god while polythestic means you worship many gods. For example I am a Christian and my religion is monothestic meaning I only worship one God.

Ancient Egypt
In Mr. Vaughts class he taught us about the Ancient Egyptians. One important thing we learned waws that Egypt is where the Nile River is located. If you didn't know the Nile River is the longest river in the world and it forms a delta at the Mediterranean. The Nile provided a form of transportation and made trade very easy.

Indus Valley
We also learned about the Indus Valley. This civilization developed around the same time as Egypt and Mesopotamia. An intresting fact is that they had a writing system but we are unable to read it. They were polythestic meaning they believed in many Gods. An important part of the Indus Valley is their river. It provided transportation, mud to make buildings, fish, etc.
