O Monster and the Oranges

One sunny morning in Malibu, Barbie Roberts was sketching fashion designs on her porch when she heard a cheerful voice calling,
“Ooh-hoo! Over here, Barbie!”
She looked up to see her unusual friend bouncing down the path — O Monster. His round brown body wobbled happily as he approached, goggles glinting in the sunlight.
“Hey, O Monster! What’s up?” Barbie asked with a smile.
“I’m on a Official Orange Outing!” O Monster announced, throwing his arms wide. “Today I’m only doing things that start with the letter O — and I need your help!”
Barbie loved a good theme day, so she called out to her sisters. Soon Skipper, Stacie, Chelsea, and even their parents, George and Margaret Roberts, joined them in the yard. Ken Carson arrived moments later, carrying a basket.
“What’s the mission?” Ken asked.
O Monster grinned. “We’re going to the Orange Orchard on Oceanview Road. I heard the oranges there are outstanding — and we might find some other O-things along the way.”
The Journey Begins
The group set off together, laughing as O Monster pointed out O-shaped objects: “Oval signs! Old oak trees! Oh, ostriches!” Sure enough, two curious ostriches were peeking over a fence as they passed a farm.

"O Monster and the Oranges"
“Ooh-hoo! Official Orange Outing today!” announced O Monster.
Barbie gathered her sisters, her parents, and Ken, and together they set off for the Orange Orchard on Oceanview Road. Along the way, O Monster pointed out O-shaped things — oval signs, old oak trees, even ostriches by a fence.
At the orchard, the group held an “Orange-Off” to see who could pick the juiciest fruit. But then they spotted owls whose nest had fallen from a tree. With teamwork, they placed it back safely, earning grateful hoots.
Later, back at the Dreamhouse, everyone enjoyed fresh orange juice, cupcakes, and even an Orange Obstacle Course. O Monster grinned.
“What an out-of-this-world day — oranges, owls, and obstacles! All thanks to the letter O!”
