This book has recently been rediscovered, and Haddie Pearson translated this book so people can read it and better understand it. Day One of Week Four of Dragon Camp

Lightning's blast never miss anymore. Everyone tells me that Lightning needs rest, and I give it to him! And now look, we're at the top! I lead all the rescue missions. (OK, maybe most of the time.) Mom and Dad are going to be so impressed. Today we went on another rescue mission. Our missions are getting harder. Pro. Renly said that we should do lots of rescue missions because it will help us with our reflexes and blah, blah. But he did say that we're going to do a new training thing tomorrow. So I'm super excited. He's not going to tell us about it because he wants to catch us off guard. But when

it's me and Lightning, nothing can defeat us! For the rescue mission, we had to get a group of baby dragons away from the mean adult dragon chasing them. It seems that Alex isn't scared of dragons anymore. Well, as long as they aren't to big and don't surprise her.

Day Two of Week Three

Today something really strange happened. We were down in the dragon lair doing the new training Professor Renly was talking about. And man, it is hard! He had us go in the training circle which is a large rock dome dug into the ground. He had us in there with a dragon, and we had to dodge its attacks, WITHOUT our dragons! Man, was I mad. But anyway, the strange thing that happened was that after training, I went down to the dragon lair with Lightning, I was training with him, and then there was this big earthquake and Lightning's eyes got all foggy and he just flew off. I chased him and called

his name, but he didn't come back. I ran back to camp and found myself at the door of Pro. Renly. I knocked but didn't wait for an answer. I barged in and called to him. He came running and asked me what was wrong. I told him what happened, and his face got all panicky and he told me to tell everyone to meet at the great hall. I got everyone and we all ran to the great hall. As we ran there, I told them what happened, and everyone looked worried, and when we ran into the great hall the mood was worried and panicked. We took a seat at one of the tables and start chattering nervously about what's going on. Pro. Renly walked up to the stage and told us that

there was a huge alpha dragon that wants to destroy this camp and all the humans. He said that we can't go down to the dragon lair at all and to keep our dragons as far away from it as possible. We don't want to risk more of our dragons running away. I would be able to stop this big alpha dragon with the help of my friends and Lightning, but without him, I can't do anything.

Day Three of Week Three

Training was canceled for today. I don't know why, because if we want to defeat the alpha dragon, then won't we have to train to get better and strategize? You can tell I have nothing to do because I'm wasting my time writing in my dumb diary. Jun says it's important to write in diaries because when your older, you can revisit you're past adventures and blah, blah, blah. I told everyone to meet me in my hut though, and we strategized and planned there instead. We haven't thought of any good plans though, so let's hope that Pro. Renly has a better plan than us, or we'll never beat the alpha!
