Who are the Stegalls?

Who are the Stegalls? Well, we are a family. A family of 5 people that is! Who are these 5 mysteriously awesome people? Well let's find out! First we have my Mom! She is a hard worker and does a lot for the family. She is 36 years old and a substitute teacher! And she has lived in a lot of places and she has had a lot of cool pets! She tells us stories about the pets all the time and how she used to live all the time!

  Next up we have my Dad! He is 35 years old and he is funny and caring! He works with trains and has worked with trains for years! He has also lived in many places and he tells us stories about how he used to live too!  Lastly we have the kids: Me (Zoey), Zara, and Lyza! I am 12 years old, Zara is the kindest and most caring she is 8 years old, and lastly Lyza! She is 2 years old and very strong willed not letting any obstacle get in her way!

  Lastly we have my pets! We have my cat, Roxie, she is a calico cat and she has been with me forever! Next we have my mom's cat, Batman! He is a Tuxedo cat and he is only a few years old and he is super needy. Lastly we have our dog Lily! Lily is a senior dog and has protected our family since before I was born!

What is a Family?

What is a family? A family is a group of people related by blood or marriage that cares and supports each other. It is an unbreakable bond. Everyone in a family should stand up for each other.

What kind of Family is mine?

What kind of Family is the Stegalls? My family is a nuclear and extended family meaning we only have 2 parents connected by marriage and we have cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents! Even some great aunts and great grandparents!

What is my Family life cycle stage?

What is a family life cycle? Well, similar to the butterfly life cycle we have family life cycles too! These life cycles in order include: Beginning family, Child bearing family, Family with preschoolers, Family with school children, Family with teens, Launching stage, and Empty nest. My family is in the Family with school children because I am the oldest and I am 12 years old and the definition for family with school children includes: Oldest child between ages of 5-12! 

My Family bonds!

What are some Family bonds my family does and are they healthy? Well some bonds my family does is playing video games together such as Just Dance or Mario Party or playing board games together like Monopoly or Catan and going to fun events like events at the park or going bowling and yes they are healthy because we are bonding together and we usually have fun! The only exceptions being if we are tired then we go to bed early. 

Family traditions!

What are some family traditions my family does? #1: Christmas! Christmas is one of the annual celebrations my family does and we usually go out and look at Christmas lights at all sorts of neighborhoods! #2: Halloween! We celebrate Halloween annually and usually go trick-or-treating and trunk-or-treating! The last example of a family tradition that my family celebrates is #3: Going out on spring break! On spring break we typically go out on vacation to either Great Wolf Lodge or Kalahari!

Family function #1: 

My family provides family functions and the first one we are going to cover is providing basic needs. What this means is my family provides: Food, Clothing, and Shelter! And my Family does all of these things! 

Family function #2:

My family provides love and affection by giving hugs, love, and support! This is probably my personal favorite family function!

Family function #3: 

My Family provides economic support by financially supporting because they both work, my dad working on trains, and my mom being a substitute teacher!

Family function #4: 

My Family provides religious education by showing us church camps (Which we go to and they are very fun!) and they tell us when we have misinformation and give us the real info!

Family function #5: 

My Family provides Education by sending us to school and having a good relationship with most teachers and helping us when we are stuck in studying or homework!

Family function #6: 

My Family can adapt to any event or hardship we face or location we move to. Like when we moved to Corpus Christi and had to adapt to the millions of mosquitoes there!
