Family Introduction

My family consists of Me, Brittney my Mom, Corey my Dad, Brody my Brother, and Karley my Sister. We also have 3 dogs named Gertrude, Lady, and Lucy. Gertrude is my dog, Lady is Brody's dog, and Lucy is our parents dog.

              What is a family?

A family is a person related to another person by blood or marriage. Families are supposed to provide love, care, companionship, and support for each other. Families often share responsibilities, interests, values, time, memories, and traditions. They always enjoy the good moments they have, and stick together through any tough times they come against, seeing it through till the end.

                 Family Types

My family is in the Blended Family type because my sister is from another relationship between my mom and another guy from when they were younger, then they broke apart and my mom got together with my dad. We are also in the Extended Family type because we have aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.

        Family Life-cycle Stage

The family Life-cycle we are in is the family with teenagers stage because my oldest sibling being my sister still lives with us and she is 17. My family has not reached the launching stage because she hasn't moved out independently yet, but she is about to go to college which is Oklahoma University.

       A Family Function we do is                    LOVE AND SUPPORT.

My family always attend family events like Football games, Choir shows, or Theater plays to list a few to show their support, and we always tell each other that we love them and say good night. We spend plenty of quality time together since we all love each other a lot.

 Another family function we do is          PROVIDING BASIC NEEDS.

Our parents make sure everyone in the family has their needs provided, like having healthy food at dinner, having fresh water to drink, a clean and warm home to live in, and appropriate clothes.

My parents have us on Life360, and they close the garage and make sure that all the doors are locked up every night, with the alarm set up. As well as having the guns locked up in the safe in the office.

   We have also done the Family              Function PROCREATION

My parents have done the procreation family function because they have had children, and I am here typing this.
