Chapter 1

Hello! My name is Eclipse! I have thirteen brothers, (seven older and six younger), and eighteen sisters, (Ten younger and 8 older). I’m the second to last oldest. We all have some magic; my magic to bring the sun and the moon up.

Chapter 2

One day, I heard a rustle in the bushes. I went to see what it was and a small indigo-colored BABY DRAGON crawled out! So I asked if I could keep it as my pet and my Mom said it COULD!! I squeal and hug my new baby dragon.

    “I’m going to name you Nerey!” I say to the dragon.

    "That sounds fun!" Nerey says enthusiastically.

    "I can UNDERSTAND you?!" I ask, awestruck.

    "Yup, because you tamed me!" Nerey answers happily.

I’ve ALWAYS wanted a dragon and now I have one!

Chapter 3

During lunch, I brought her some food and she ate it up at lightning speed! Then she curled up into a little ball and fell asleep. It was SOOOOOOO cute! And I could not stop smiling! (One of my older brothers said that if I kept smiling my face would fall off, but I ignored him.) And I couldn’t stop saying,

    “It’s SOOOOOOOO cute!” 

    “PLEASE stop saying that.” One of my older teenage brothers groaned.

Picky brothers. I thought.

Chapter 4

I read a book that said that dragons can help you with your magic and I tried with Nerey and it worked! This has got to be the best day in the entire history of days!

Chapter 5

One morning when I was outside, I heard something in the shrubs again. I thought it was a dragon again, or maybe a cute fluffy bunny, so I went over to see what it was. Suddenly, something jumped at me and knocked me out. I fell to the ground, unconscious. The thing pulled me into a hole hidden underneath the shrubs.

Chapter 6

Back inside, Nerey saw everything that happened to me. She tried to tell my parents, but they couldn’t understand her. Good thing Nerey knew someone that could.

    “Hurricane!!” Nerey yelled, walking into her room.

    “What do you want with my life?!” Hurricane (My older cousin) scowled back.

Nerey informed her what happened.

    “Oh, that's why you came to me.” Hurricane said, already thinking about what could happen. “Good thing you did; sense I’m the only one who can understand you.” Nerey opened her mouth to thank her. “You're smarter than I thought.”

    “Thank-Ecscues me?!” Nerey said, as they walked outside. Nerey showed her the bushes where Eclipse disappeared.

    “Ah-ha.” Hurricane said. She muttered a spell under her breath, and the bushes parted and a hole appeared.

    “We don’t have to go in there, do we?” Nerey asked nervously. “Can’t you just do a spell and POOF, Eclipse appears?”

    “No I can’t just POOF ‘Clips here.” Hurricane answered. “And yes, if you want to save ‘Clips, jump in the hole. Otherwise, we could just go back in the house and forget ‘Clips ever existed. Would that be better for you, scaredy-dragon?”
    “I am not a scaredy-dragon!” Nerey said definitely. “And fine, let’s go into this scary, dark, winding tunnel and save Eclipse.”

Chapter 7

As Hurricane and Nerey ventured deeper into the tunnel, Nerey realised something.

    “Uh-oh.” Nerey said. “This is gonna be the last time the sun is up if Eclipse got kidnapped”

    “Huh, I guess you're right.” Hurricane said, walking forward and not looking back. “And yeah, of course she got kidnapped. Nobody would just

go, ‘Whoopsie! I’m just going to knock this person out on accident!'"

Chapter 8

As they continued to walk through the dark, dank tunnel, Hurricane started singing (Probably just to freak out Nerey more.) and Nerey worried, and worried, and worried about what happened to Eclipse. 

    “Eclipse got kidnapped, yeah, yeah, yeah.

    And I don’t know how we’re gonna find ‘er

    I’ve got me, and a  super nervous indigo dragon

    And I got no flagon

    And I’m hungry, but hey, hey, hey!

    Eclipse is captured in a tunnel!

    A tunnel, a tunnel, a TUN- uh-oh!”

Hurricane pushed Nerey behind a huge boulder and hid behind it.

    “What gives-” Nerey asked.

    “Shhh! There are people coming!” Hurricane whispered to her.

Just then, four people (or things that looked like people) wearing black

body suits, walked by talking about someone’s workshop. They said something about Dr. K.Y’s workshop and that he’s angry. Hurricane and
