To all the shy young girls in the world-don't be afraid to follow your dreams!

Once upon a time there was a beautiful, shy young unicorn named Amber. She may have been shy, but she had one dream-to be in her school play, The Castle in the Clouds. She was gifted at acting, but the problem was she had very bad stage fright.

One day, she rode a cloud to school alongside her winged friend, Cassandra. Cassandra had done theater before, so she told Amber that she could just pretend she was practicing in her room. That way, she wouldn't be scared anymore.

The day of the auditions came at last. Almost everyone in the school tried out, so Amber was really nervous. "Remember what I told you," Cassandra said before Amber's turn. Amber went out on stage and did her best.

The next day, the cast list was posted on the classroom wall. Everyone wanted to see what part they got. When Amber looked at the list, across from her name, at the very top, was the part she got: Princess Starlight.

"I got the part!" Amber excitedly told her mom when she got home. "Congratulations, Amber," said her mom, "but you still have to clean your room before bed." Of course Amber had magic and could clean her room without even going in.

That night Amber studied her lines and practiced her magic, flying, and sketching. She even had time to make her room clean again before bed.

The next day was the first day of rehearsal. Cassandra practiced skipping mid-flight, Amber practiced her Speech of Peace monologue, and Tickle the Phoenix, who played the royal herald, practiced his bugle fanfare.

All the while stagehands and prop and costume designers were hard at work. Amber, a talented seamstress and fashionista herself, had even stopped by the costume design area and given the designers some help.

Sometimes, Amber stood on her cloud bed and practiced her lines in front of her stuffed animals. Her little brother, George, laughed at her a lot, so she gave him a jar of pickles to keep him quiet.

And every Tuesday and Thursday after school she helped out with the costumes, props, and sets if she had any extra time after her read-through group.

At last, it was time for the big show! The sets were painted, the props were ready, and the actors knew all of their lines. Everything was all set, but Amber was terrified. It was a packed house, full of friends and family.

Suddenly, Amber heard a whimpering sound next to her. Another, shyer unicorn, Melody, was cowering next to her. Apparently she was even more scared of going on stage than Amber. "What if everyone boos and throws things at me?" she asked.

"Don't be sacred, just pretend you're alone practicing in your room," Amber said. Suddenly the overture started playing. "Break a leg," Amber whispered to her. "Same," she whispered back.
