Chapter 1: History Undone

Once, there was two monarch butterflies.

Their names were Slak and Sleek.

One time they were out and around playing but just before they were about to start, another monarch butterfly kidnapped them both! The kidnapper was named Spleek. They both knew because he told them already.

After a while, both of them had escaped unharmed, but they had to part ways so both of them wouldn't be kidnapped next time. They agreed to see each other again at the Sanctuary of Mexico.

Chapter 2: The Move

Slak was really scared because he had to move really fast since Spleek was chasing him! So he went with the wind currents. It made him go fast, but Spleek as well! It seemed impossible to lose track of him, but no, it wasn't.

Slak knew where he was right now. He was in Buffalo, NY. How did he know? He just knew. "Get away! You already kidnapped me!" Slak said. Spleek said nothing. Slak had to lose him somehow. Then, he remembered this thing called Niagara Falls. It was right in front of him. 

Chapter 3: Niagara Falls

Slak thought he was the luckiest butterfly in the monarch world. But he forgot about Spleek, who was catching up to him! He was about to get to him, but since he was fast, he dogged it on time. Lucky, Slak thought. But then he saw something on the water.

What the- Slak thought.

"THIS IS THE BEST!" someone said. "What's this thing called again? The Maid of the Mist, yeah, that's it." the same person asked and answered. Then, this happy little boy threw his boomerang at Slak and Spleek but it barely missed Slak.

Chapter 4: Crossroads

The boomerang missed Spleek the first time but hit him on the head when it came back. Slak thought this was his chance so he flew away at full speed (as fast as a cheetah).

One minute later Slak found himself in St. Louis, Missouri. Wow, I didn't know I was that fast, Slak thought. Then he saw a broken roller coaster gate. He entered because why not.

Then after a while he found two paths and Hecate. The goddess asked him, "Which way would you go? The Botanical Gardens, or the playoffs?" "I'm not so sure. I'll take the playoffs," Slak said. 

"If that's your wish then go left," Hecate said. "You'll also find a new friend."

Chapter 5: The War God

"Thanks," Slak said. So, he went left and found the playoffs. Found one god, hope I find another, Slak thought. When Slak entered the playoffs, he found the one, the only, John Ce-Ares. (derpy music) "Hey! Slak!" Ares shouted. "How do you know my name?" Slak asked.
