The Oracle Beads

The sacred beads were a common myth amongst Stardwellers. Each had a specific purpose and meaning.

The emerald bead signified life, and allowed the Oracle to see into the future.

The black onyx allowed the Oracle to change the past.

The firestone allowed the Oracle to share the future and their prophecies. 

The diamond allowed the Oracle to enter people's dreams.

The chainstone allowed the Oracle to take a physical form.

The crystal allowed the Oracle to teleport between timelines.

The dragon scale allowed the Oracle to speak in all tongues, including to animals and creatures.

And finally, the Scryrock, which allowed the Oracle to destroy timelines. This was only used if the events of a timeline risked the existence of others, or even the universe. It has only been used twice before.

The First Mage

Before the vials were even created, magic was important and was the most common thing to defend with. Ancient beings only known as Mages could use these techniques. However, although magic still existed, it was forgotten until the Magic Keeper dragon was slain and his scales infused with enchantment were used to create rods. Magic became plentiful again and the Magic Academy was founded. The First Mage was thought to be a god who created life in Stardash and defended it from evil.

The Vials

10,000 years before The Neo Wars, it is thought there was another race of creatures. They could brew potions that would make you a god and give you special powers. Each one did different things and they were stored in the Old Citadel on Mount Violent. This race went extinct, although it is also thought they created the robots that fought against the humans in the Neo Wars, although this is not sure of.

The Robot Creation and the return of Magic

Either the same race who created the vials or a new one, giant robots were created to defend a city they created named Stardash, after the founder, Spyri Stardash. These robots were called Neomages because they were looked upon to defend Stardash as were the Mages. Magic was found again and practiced commonly, the arts kept in journals that were stored carefully in vaults. 

The Neo Wars

When humans first came to colonize Stardash, they were attacked by the Neomages. The creators had previously all died but the bots still defended the city. Humans fought against these bots to take them down, and eventually, all the bots were destroyed. Some parts of the ruins can still be found in locations everywhere. The Neo Wars took place 100,000 years before the extinction of humans on Stardash due to an unknown disease. It wiped out most humans before they could even do anything.

Harvesting of Crystals and Energy

A few hundred years after The Neo Wars, humans had begun harvesting crystals. They also found lots of energy and stored it in vessels to use for factories and powering machines and devices. Even before the epidemic, the stored energy was still being used for different things, although the only bit of it that remained was what was in the Citadel.
