Geography 

Geography is all about the study of the earth. In 7th grade you learn about longitude and latitude. You also learn about the  7 continents which is North America, South America, Antarctica, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia, but some people call it Oceania. 

 Next you will learn what economics means and what it does. Economics is how people use their recourses. Economics helps people with personal budgeting like rent, food, and entertainment. It also helps you decide what products to buy on the price and quality.

Government is what keeps the people and the country together. But not all countries have good government. In 7th grade you will learn the government of China, Japan, North Korea, and South Korea.

countries have different cultures. They have different symbols, and different beliefs. you also learn the cultural diffusion. they also teach you that different countries talk in different languages.

Religion

there are 5 major religions in the world and you will learn all about them. in 7th grade you will learn about Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Judaism. They will teach you how much followers there are, what their holiday is and more.

River Civilizations

You will learn about the Egypt river civilization. The Egyptians started next to the Nile River. The Nile gave the people water to use on their plants and to drink. They built pyramids and homes in stone. This kept the Egyptians stay safe.

In 7th grade you will learn about how the Indus people lived and how smart they were. The Indus valley is where people used to live long ago. It was near a river called the Indus River. They were smart because they built cities roads and bathrooms. They also had drains to carry the dirty water.

Age of Empires

 You will learn about the Chinese dynasties. There were lots of Chinese dynasties, like Shang, Zhou, Qin, Han, Song and more. The Emperors were the rulers. They made laws and helped the people. The Chinese dynasties were smart and they were really artsy.
