Elizabeth was a very sweet and pretty little girl and she had a big imagination. Some times it got her into trouble. Here is a picture of Elizabeth. She had long curley hair and pretty blue eyes. Some times she could be very mischevious and other times she coul be very sweet. She loved to help her mother do the dishes or sometimes she would help her cook.

     Elizabeth had always wanted a pet but since they lived in an apartment she couldn't have one. At night

after she had gone to bed she would lay there and imagine that she had one. She couldn't decide which kind of pet she wanted as she loved all animals. This one night as she was sleeping she dreamed about a large animal. The large animal was crying because

it wanted some one to love her. In her dream

Elizabeth felt sorry for her and decided to take

her  home  and love her and feed her. It became

so real to Elizabeth that she actually beleived that it it

    This animal was huge and she didn't know how she could sneak it into the apartment without her parents knowing about it. She thought and thought and then she had an idea. A friend of her dad's was a farmer and had a big barn. Maybe she could lead her over there and ask him if she could put her in his barn. The next day she hurried and got up and dressed.  She found a long sheet to put around her pets neck so she could lead  her  to the barn. It would be a long walk but  her pet would be nice and  cozy in there.  She just hoped that farmer brown would let her put her new pet in there.

"Well hello Elizabeth what are you doing out here? Farmer Brown asked.  " I was wondering if I could put my new pet in your barn?" Farmer Brown looked puzzled. He looked around but didn't see  any pet. Well where is it?" he asked.  " She is standing right here," Are               Then                      erememberd  thaE                                    

     Then farmer Brown remembered that Elizabeth had a big imagination. Does your parents know where you are ?" He asked. "No because I can't have a pet in the apartment so I thought I would bring Miss  Dinah out here and see if you would let her stay in your barn?"  Farmer Brown thought a while and then he answered "Well I think it would be alright but first we better call your folks and let

them know where you are." He got out his cell phone and texed her parents.

too happy about that because she knew she would be in trouble. Well let's get her into the barn"  farmer Brown opened  up the door and Elizabeth led her inside.

Elizabeth wasn't too happy because she knew she

would be punished because she didn't tell them where she was going. Farmer Brown opened the barn door and she led her in.

Oh, Oh she thought because she could see

her Dad's car coming down t he road. When he got there he stopped and got out of the car. He did

not look happy.

Young lady what is the meaning of this?" He asked

"I wanted to put my pet in Farmer Brown's barn

because she is too big  for our apartment" Elizabeth answered.

"What kind of a pet are you talking about?" Dad asked. "My dinosaur Miss Dinah."

                                Elizabeth answered.

"Your dinosaur, Elizabeth are you imagining again?

You know that dinosaurs are distinct and  it was dangerous for you to walk way out here alone. I'm glad that Farmer Brown called us" Now you better go and apolagize to him."
